Measuring & Fitting

To help you to give us an approximate guide to the measurements of glass you require, please follow the following steps:-

  • Approximate Measurements  - Take approximate measurements of the area you would like to put glass, counting the number of holes and socket cut-outs required. If possible please include some photographs
    of the area.

  • Measuring & Installing Installations which include multiple pieces of glass
and more complicated shapes with cut-outs for sockets are difficult and require
experienced measuring and fitting skills, therefore our highly trained and
experienced fitting teams aim to provide you with the highest level of service.
We use laser  technology to get exact measurements to ensure your glass is
fitted correctly.  We work closely with you at every stage of the process to
ensure that you get the exact product that you are after.

  • Make it Bespoke - Consider colours, patterns or images that you might like.
You can view our gallery to give you some ideas, or you can get in touch and
talk to one of our design team. You don’t need to know exactly what you want,
but having a rough  idea will help our team create a bespoke design just for you.

  • Get in Touch - The next stage is to contact the team at Stainger Glass. Call us on 01293 513127 or email us at info@staingerglass.com with your details and measurements. Please try to provide as much information as possible such as purpose, style, colour or pattern, as well as your postcode.

  • Estimate & Costs - One of our team will get in touch to provide an estimate for Glass, Measuring and Fitting (subject to t&c). If you are happy with the estimate, we will take a 50% deposit of the estimated cost and arrange a site survey and consultation.

  • Site Survey & Consultation - Once on site our fitters will take accurate measurements and create templates if necessary, they are also able to provide you with expert advice. Before our visit we require the area in question is finished (tiling finished, worktops installed, stairwells completed) so that we can be exact in our measurements and can ensure a high quality and expert finish. We cannot be held responsible for any changes made after our final survey.

  • Fitting & Installation - Once the deposit is made, any further costs  and all details agreed, we will get the glass into production. We aim to work promptly with your order and accommodate your schedule but care and detail is essential and some jobs cannot be rushed. Once on site we will take care of everything including a final clean-up of our work. Once completed, and you are happy, the remaining balance will be due.
