Laminating

Laminated glass is achieved by bonding multiple layers of glass together, some of which can be toughened, by the use of heat the layers may be bent to achieve a decorative and architecturally appealing finished product.

By using various thicknesses, types of interlayer’s and types of glass the product takes on further qualities, thermal, ballistic and structural.

During the process of laminating we are able to introduce decorative layers, this may include coloured material, silk, mesh, grasses, veneer, we have even included leaves.

As a decorative medium it attains a set of qualities unattainable by any other process allowing the included medium to look as if it is suspended in space.
